Dealing With Broken Things
Things break: possessions, partnerships, promises and the like. Sitting amidst broken things can be stressful, depressing and clutter your physical and emotional space. While having things break occasionally, and sometimes more frequently is inevitable, you don’t have to let things remain.
Repair them, or remove them.
Assess the short and long term importance, value and meaning to you, then fix them or let them go. Apologize, renew commitments, fix them yourself or get help .
Repair the things you love and value; remove the things that no longer serve you. It’s easier said than done, but easier than you may believe.
