Very excellent, Staci! I needed to read this. I am horrible about rebooting. It is perhaps because I am unfamiliar now with what makes me rest, what gives me joy.

When I was younger, I was afraid to reboot.. nice term by the way.. But now I realized the value of rebooting. I may not have the luxury of having a long vacation. But i do try to make it a point to go on a 4 day break or my favorite, when i feel that i'm drowning. I go to the coffee shop by myself, buy a tall caffe latte and sit there just watch people go by. Simple yes but to me its vey impactful. A "me" time, a time to reflect on the many blessings that I have in my life. This is such a relevant topic, specially in the fast paced life that we live in. Thank you for sharing such a cool post.

Haha, nice nice. Man i've needed to REBOOT so many times its not even funny. People like ourselves spend over 12 hours on the puter everyday tasks: anything from communication, twitter, coding, design etc etc...

Rebooting is extremely necessary, especially for those on the puter all the time. Point is don't over-stress yourself or you are gonna burn-out real fast, and you don't want that to happen!! Burning out quickly might just make you hastily quit.. NO GOOD!

I don't know if i mentioned this to you before, but the trick for me is Slowly yet *consistently catch the Monkey!! *Consistent being the key.

When i look back at all the work i've done, I know that by the rule above I can double, triple it within a fair amount of time :-) One year, two years --> 10 years and you'll be like WOW, Im proud of what i done :-)

Oh and btw i just saw you and your husband's photo, thats so sweet Staci, he is a lucky fellow (and you are too!!). So beautiful to see a great couple, God Bless ya'll :-)

Staci, you are so right about needing to reboot!

Seeing the telltale signs that you're headed for a crash takes amazing insight into your own psyche. And no matter how connected we are to our inner selves, we can still miss those signs.

Here's to living with equal parts awareness and forgiveness - that we're human and it's okay if we can't do everything for everyone.

Thanks for the gentle reminder to be kind to the fragile, beautiful soul within.
