Relationship Builder Spotlight: Rajesh Pancholi
Relationship Builder…Rajesh Pancholi
My business is all about helping people build relationships and communicate effectively, using Social Media platforms as well as offline. I watch, listen, engage and interact organically, but at the same time there is an element of strategy. What you communicate and with whom is important.
I’ve met some amazing people, made friends and built partnerships all over the planet. From time to time, I’ll introduce one of these people to you. I have selected people who “get” Social Media. These people balance listening with talking, engaging with sharing and are effective at communicating their value without “announcing” themselves as experts or gurus. They provide valuable information and are a positive force in the Social Media community.
My first spotlight shines on Mr. Rajesh Pancholi. He definitely builds relationships using this platform. He shows up, shares and communicates consistently. His positive, charming engaging demeanor is evident in his communications. He shares valuable information and is generous by sharing not only his own information, but links and tips from others as well.
Enough from me, I’ll let Rajesh tell you a little about himself.

Who is Rajesh Pancholi? (In His Own Words)
I’m a son, brother, friend and husband. I placed them in that order because that’s the order they occurred in. I’m also a creative (not quite sure where this falls in the order of occurrence). I’m the Founder and Creative Director of R27.CREATIVELAB – specializing in graphic design, website design and brand development.
Author, one day soon…Screenwriter the day after…I love photography. I love design. I love architecture. I love all things creative. I love my wife.
If I have to have a title, I guess it would be “Creative Designer”, but titles always seem so limiting, especially when used by others who want to put you in a neat little box for their own comfort. Hopefully, time will show that I’m able to do so much more. This sounds like a cliché I know, but there’s so much more for me. Writer, Painter, Father…
Give me your “Elevator Pitch”
I’m a creative designer with 15 years experience in the design arena working alongside creative agencies marketing collateral for both on and off line presence. Exhibition stands, video stings, and corporate ID. I’ll help deliver your message, and if needed, make it more palatable. So what’s it to be? Tea or coffee…
What’s your Philosophy regarding Social Media Relationships? What’s most important to you?
My philosophy is simple and not just tied to Social Media. Be yourself, be honest, be patient. Have a long term view. Think before you press the send button, “Would I say the same thing face to face?” The most important thing about whichever direction you take is the journey. It’s not about numbers, it’s about feedback. Choose which media experience you want to be part of. The important words here are “be part of”. Join in, they don’t bite and you may be surprised at how giving some individuals are. For me it’s like a studio filled with thousands and someone will always point you in the right direction or show you something that will get the creative juices flowing. So, open the door and listen, you may learn something.
How do you “go about” building relationships in Social Media and how do you transfer them offline?
When I’m online, I don’t “go about anything”, I listen, ask and comment in between my work. To be honest, I don’t have a “goal”, so I guess I just let it grow into whatever it wants to become. As time goes on you do see possibilities for interactions and that’s when it gets fun, when personalities show through. How do I transfer them offline? Well, you open another door to someone and keep it open. It’ll be used in good time.
What else would you like the community to know about you?
I’m more interested in others than myself, but I’m open to others asking. Not 20 questions, but a conversation over time. I’m also interested in getting involved with projects that may give me something back, not just financially, but something deeper…
Well, I got to ask my (not quite) 20 questions. I hope you enjoyed meeting Rajesh as much as I did. Follow him on Twitter, join the conversation, and by all means, check out his work at R27.CreativeLab!! Here’s to better relationships, online and offline…

Staci, I’ve really been off the map lately. I’m feeling your Follow Friday Spotlight piece and that skin is real swank, girl. And then you rocked ♫ Musiq (Soulchild) – So Beautiful early in the morning to. http://blip.fm/~36io5

Staci, This is a wonderful idea. To put a person “who gets social media” in the spotlight is great way to share that person with others.
I will follow Rajesh Pancholi on Twitter and view his website. His relaxed manner is refreshing. Thanks for introducing him to us.
